[MCL-24644] Sometimes it gets stuck on a grey screen when starting up

Sometimes when starting the Launcher, the text in the title bar will go blank and you'll get stuck on a grey screen.
When this happens, you won't be able to do anything unless you restart the launcher.
This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it's annoying.

Hi there!

Could you answer few questions regarding this issue, it will help with the investigation:

Does this issue occur on the Windows 10/11 version of the Launcher (as I see you use Legacy Launcher)
Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?
Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date (check for updates regardless)?
Are your graphic card drivers up-to-date? Please check for updates regardless.
Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
Could you record a video of this issue?
Could you provide us with more in-depth repro steps?

Also, there are two versions of Windows Launcher, Windows 10/11 version and Legacy version.
From what I see you are using Legacy Launcher; can you try the other one?
