I was told to update Minecraft Java and Bedrock on my Minecraft Launcer, but it's stuck on waiting on install so I uninstalled and reinstalled my Minecraft Launcher and the issue is still there

Can you please see if the installation started in Xbox app / Microsoft store library?
Also, after you install the game does the 'Install' button appears instead of the 'Play' button?
Please also try to start the game from Start menu.
