[MCL-24834] Cannot change minecraft version

I cannot create java installation using previos versions, it is possible using only the latest. After clicking on the dropdown menu all the versions are listed there, but after clicking on any of them, the menu closes and the version does not change. Installation cannot be selected in the main menu as well. I am on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. On Windows it seems to work just fine but on linux i have these problems.
