Steps:
Launch Minecraft Launcher
Expected Results:
Minecraft Launcher connects to internet while computer is connected to internet.
Actual results:
Error banner: “Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn’t connect to the Minecraft services. Please connect to the internet to refresh your online access. Try again.”
Pop-up: “We were unable to verify what products you own. Please check your internet connection.”
(I am connected to the internet, as I am posting from the same machine)
There are also 1,481 reported issues on DownDetector.

If you read bug report guidelines on official mc site, it says mojang will not review reports that related to loss of connection to the servers.
