I keep getting logged out of the Minecraft launcher. I have to log in about every third time I open the launcher. It only started recently.
I log in with microsoft (only press “login”, don’t have to type in password etc).

I’ve reinstalled the launcher and now I have a new problem. The install didn’t create a desktop shortcut and now I can’t find the minecraft lanucher/.exe file ANYWHERE. The only way I can open minecraft now is via the start menu. So this is just great (not).
Please help.
It’s not in appdata, I don’t have a “windows apps” folder, it’s not in xbox apps, it’s not in C: minecraft launcher, the only .exe file I can find doesn’t have any icon but does open minecraft. WHERE IS THE LAUNCHER??
Hi!
Does this issue still occur to you on the newest version of the Launcher?
If yes, can you please answer these few questions:
-Are you logged in with the same account on MS account and in Launcher?
-Do you use Windows 10/11 version of the Launcher? If yes, have you tried the Legacy version?
-Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
