opening the launcher always says unable to update ive tried restarting my computer ,and redownloading minecraft

Been having a very similiar issue, mine doesn’t update either but if I open minecraft in applications it just bounces up and down. When I manually open the minecraft updater, it’s just stuck and says “field”, and native updater logs show it’s unable to update itself. It’s MCL-25861.
