Can not verify products I own and says to check internet.

I’m getting the message: “We were unable to verify what products you own. Please check your internet connection.” along with my mine coins not loading and sometimes it says: “no internet connection”. My internet connect is good and I’ve updated everything I can. I’ve tried running the launcher as an administrator and that worked for a few minutes but then my mouse would stay active behind Minecraft and right click and left click on random things making it unplayable.
