I've asked for help in the Discord community chat, tried every tutorial online, followed a moderator's instructions (restoring/repairing the Microsoft Store and the Minecraft Launcher, installing Minecraft Legacy, checking the date/time, getting a hjt log, and deleting programs from my computer). Still, I haven't been able to solve the problem. I can confirm that my internet connection is good, not bad, as I've tested two different Wi-Fi networks and nothing has changed in the launcher. I'm almost giving up trying to play because I can't solve this problem at all.

Hi i put a more detailed bug for the same issue that got closed and got referenced to this bug instead this is a widespread issue nothing on the faqs fix this.

The only fix ive found is to use a vpn then the launcher connects instantly alot of people dont know about the bug page but go on reddit youtube you will see loads of people encountering this issue it really needs addressing considering this is nearly 3 year old bug thats still occuring is wild please fix this we shouldnt need to use a vpn to play minecraft.

For reference ive tried:

Restarting internet router

Changing dns and flushing dns cache

Reinstalling minecraft launcher

Adding custom rule to windows defender for the minecraft launcher to allow

Restarting the pc

Signing out and singing back in

Disabling antivirus firewall protections

Deleting the user profile and re adding it

None of thr above work! The only step that works is to use a vpn please get this sorted
