i literally can no longer play minecraft, i am logged into my account in the windows store and launcher, own java, have played and had no problems for years. the other day i opened the launcher and red windows appeared saying they could not verify which products i own. when i click play it comes up with an error and refuses to let me past. this happens both with my iris shaders as the version i’m trying to launch and the base game. I tried everything, deleted all my minecraft files and reinstalled, lost my forever world trying to solve this and still nothing. I don’t know if its a bug with the newest launcher but its so disappointing. please help!

I have almost the same problem, but with the "internet connection" error. Don't worry, it seems to be a widespread issue. Hopefully, they resolve it soon.

Does this issue occur on every boot? (can you please try around 3 times?)
Does it occur on every version?
Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.

Yes, it occurs on every reboot. I have tried at least 20 times.
I'm not sure what version you mean? Like the launcher version or the minecraft version (java/bedrock). I use the Windows 10/11 launcher. I only own Java.
I completed this process, I redownloaded the Launcher and then received a small window that says "Unable to update native launcher." I am now unable to launch the launcher altogether.

I had this since February 2025 i sent at least 3 support tickets and nothing was fixed if i stop playing for a month it fixes itself and then it does this again i cant play normally at all im so tired of this ong
This issue still persists. The launcher is stuck on “Launching game… “ screen for a long time and then says “Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher.”. I am from India. I have had this issue for more than a month now.
Also, I am unable to login to the minecraft.net website and hence cannot reinstall the launcher.
Should I raise a seperate issue of its own ?
I was playing a modded server and I know what mod was causing the problems, but before I could delete it, my entire computer froze, so I had to ctrl+alt+delete and log out. When I logged back in, my Launcher had this exact issue. I can’t play the game and it's a lore-based server too ;n;
Help me with this question, the same problem, although 4 days ago I was playing on the server and suddenly it doesn't give me the opportunity to log in... I bought the official version of Minecraft in order to suffer...

I've had this exact same problem haven't been able to get on since yesterday. I also can't send a report to the team because the website is giving me and error.
