I have owned minecraft for now what must be close to 10 years and have a very strong internet connection, I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher about 5 or 6 times, I’ve signed out and re-signed into my accounts multiple times and followed every YouTube tutorial to try and fix the issue however nothing I have tried has worked. Sometimes the error message doesn't pop up but then when I press play to see if it will finally work it asks me to enter a username but is won’t let me press complete when I enter my usual username, it’s just greyed out and says failed to request username availability.

Tried on a different WiFi network and was able to connect fine… strange as I have a second device that is able to access on my home network, just the laptop doesn’t work…
Same here, i tried reinstalling the game and the launcher, but doesn’t work.
I tried using another wifi connection but still have the same error
It’s Windows 11; what do you expect?
Try connecting via ethernet, it' much more stable and reliable than even the best possible Wi-Fi connection; reset your network settings, and reboot your router.
SIDE NOTE:
I once had an Ubuntu Laptop that would not connect to a public hospital network, no matter what I tried, even though my iPhone connected without problem; sometimes Wi-fi is just like that, I guess!
