Unable to Verify Owned Products / Failed to Download File (SSL/TLS Error)

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue that prevents me from playing Minecraft, both vanilla and modded (via CurseForge).

When launching the game, I often receive the following message:

“We were unable to verify what products you own. Please check your internet connection.”

In some cases, the launcher allows me to click Play, but then fails with this error:

This issue happens consistently and makes the game unplayable.

Additional information:

• Internet connection is stable and working normally

• The issue occurs with both official Minecraft launcher and CurseForge

• Minecraft is properly installed and I own the game

• Windows system date/time is correct

Could you please help me understand what is causing this SSL/TLS handshake failure and how I can fix it?
