If you try to switch versions in the “Latest release” installation the installations page will update to show the version you changed it to, however when you launch the game it will still launch 1.21.11. If you try to switch versions of other existing installations it works as expected, the game launches with whatever you selected, so it only affects the “Latest release” installation. Ideal solution would be to not let people change the version of that installation and instead prompt them to create a new installation.
