Minecraft Launcher Installation glith in MacOS

Hello,

I am unable to open newly downloaded Minecraft Launcher on my Mac Mini (late 2014). I have downloaded the launcher multiple times from the default download link on the website, https://aka.ms/minecraftClientMac, and have performed the normal procedure of draggin the Minecraft.app icon to the Applications Folder Icon. When I open the launcher for the first time, a small window opens indicating that it is downloading and installing updates. When it closes, the launcher should appear. Instead, an Error window opens with a crash report. In short, a Segmentation Fault is being thrown. I have attached a copy of the report for reference.
