Minecraft Launcher won't open Java Edition

So, my Minecraft Launcher can’t launch Java Edition but it can open Bedrock Edition, every time when I press the “Play” button on the Java Edition in the Launcher, it says preparing but after a few seconds it says play again. Now, I don’t know because when I checked my .minecraft folder, some files that I need for it to work, weren’t there. I hope it’s not from this and from something else, but if it’s because some files are missing (the photo attached is the one where I only have those files) then what can I do or how to do to get them back? All of them.
