minecraft launcher will not allow me to log in, it keeps giving me an Certificate exception: No subject alternative DNS name matching authserver.mojang.com found

Please attach the complete output of the "Launcher Log" which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.

I can't get into the launcher, it will not let me, I tried to log out of my profile, and I reinstalled it trying to fix an earlier problem. now that I have it logged out it will only give me the initial login screen

Do you know which DNS servers you use?

Are you behind a proxy? If so, what type of proxy is it? (Work, school, government, just a personal thing)

Do you have an anti-virus? If so, what is it? Have you adjusted the settings outside the defaults?

Do you have a firewall? If so, what is it? Have you adjusted the settings outside the defaults?

I think I use heughsnet's DNS servers

I don't think I have a proxy, but if I do it would be a home network proxy

I have no antivirus, I'm on a mac

and I tried disabling my firewall to see of that would fix it before i posted the bug report

In the mac terminal, type this:

dig ns authserver.mojang.com

Then try the following:

dig @8.8.8.8 ns authserver.mojang.com

this appears to have actually been a computer error, it was fixed when i restarted the computer

Can someone help me, i have the same problem, already tried the IRC guys, they coulnd't solve the problem. Anything that i can do?

I tried the terminal commands method, it still wouldn't let me log in into my Minecraft launcher.
