Since I upgraded to the new OS X Launcher, I can only successfully launch Minecraft intermittently. On most launches, the launcher window shows, but is blank, I get the "spinning beachball" and eventually have to force quit the launcher.
I have tried deleting the launcher and downloading again, this doesn't help.
I would attach useful Console output, but was unable to locate any. However, I am a relatively clueful user who works in the development world professionally; please let me know how I can track down useful diagnostic information for you.

On MCL-4038, I listed a workaround: delete ~/"Library/Application Support/Minecraft Launcher/" and the probability of a successful launch goes up a lot. (I'd also be happy to assist with any diagnostic info.)
Also, unlike ~/"Library/Application Support/minecraft", that folder doesn't appear to have anything useful in it, so deleting it on every launch doesn't seem to lose anything interesting.
This may be related to MCL-3187 "Launcher crashing with JFX already initialized"
Is there anything I can do to assist in diagnosing the issue? Looks like MCL-3992 has some great detail in it; would you like me to follow similar steps?
