It's pretty straightforward. I'm on 0.9.3. It worked in 0.9.2.

I have verified this on another device and will try updating java however it did occur immediately after the 0.9.3 update was available. My friends device followed the same behavior.
edit: Nope, on the latest (http://cl.ly/image/050d30072U3a), and still not able to right click.
On linux it was never possible, before I've seen a friend doing a right click on list in the profile list, I don't think that was implemented and only here to see development informations, my right click button works fine in other applications and in Minecraft itself when playing
$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_21"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_21-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 23.21-b01, mixed mode)
David Kowis : Can you put information about your environment. ?
For me I'm running Ubuntu 13.04 with Unity and Oracle Java 7 (as above)
Just to note, I can't right click on it any longer. It used to work, but I can't run that old launcher any more, it just tells me that I need to update.
My desktop is on Fedora 18, and running Oracle Java 7, it's a bit older:
$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_10"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_10-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.6-b04, mixed mode)
$ cat /etc/fedora-release
Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)
Same behavior happens on my ArchLinux laptop:
java version "1.7.0_40"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.0) (ArchLinux build 7.u40_2.4.0-1-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.0-b40, mixed mode)
Cannot confirm.
Your Java is out of date. Please update....
