Every time I try to go to an older version it crashes. I really need help! I have no clue how to fix this!

This happen with me too, the loading screen appear, load and, the game crashes, actually in 2020 the latest version is 1.16.2, but I wanted to know how was minecraft in older versions, and I went to beta 1.8.1 and I found a bug that probably already has been fixed, this is the bug: I can hit a mob in a longer distance, such as 30 blocksÂ

Your Minecraft version is outdated. We currently take issues for version 1.11.2.
Please update to the latest version as it includes the newest fixes. If you still have this problem after updating, then please create a new issue.
In case of a game crash, please also attach the crashlog.
