[MCL-6400] launcher freeezes/ java not workin

the games freezes when loading terrain and sometimes gives the message java binary has stopped working. I have downloaded the minecraft.jar version which is working, but not acceptable for re cording puposes. I also download another version from the website on the 21/2/17, but it is not working today (22nd)

Are you sure to have nvidia driiver 378.66 running ? Please double check, see MC-112780

27/02/2017, the game still will not play, launcher freezes when terrain is being built. The game will work when ATlauncher is used or an older version is used via minecraft.net, but my skin does not appear, Steve only.

MCL-6022 is not using a nvidea card, also the minecraft skin is still an issue.

The GPU has nothing to do with this, it was because a similar issue was caused by it before

update my skin now shows when using ATlauncher, not with minecraft direct launcher (old version) new launcher still not working.
