[MCL-69] New launcher stops at, "Queueing Downloads"

I click play on the launcher and it goes up to "Queueing (spelling?) Downloads" and stops there. I can still interact with the window, but it does not launch the game.

MCL-118 When I log into the new launcher to try to use the new snapshot, the messages stay on queing downloads. I am on windows 7 By the way. Resolved

Never mind. Solved. I had to update my Java and it worked.
