It says the version is 2.0.849, but there's no such option.
The Minecraft launcher icon in dock, will open a separate window each time you click it after closing the game.
Steps to reproduce:
In the settings, tick the "Keep the launcher open while the game is running"
and "Open output log when the game starts" settings.Start the game.
Quit out of the game, [might be necessary to get a crash].
Click the dock icon a couple of times.
New windows should open, one per click.

Currently can't reproduce, but it may need further testing. This big is somewhat random and sometimes it just doesn't occur. I also updated the OS since then so it also may have some affect, and might still be present for others.
TL;DR "cannot reproduce" not "fixed"
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft Launcher version 2.0.1003 / 2.0.1004? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
