System worked fine until Minecraft ver.1.12
I have read some of the other post, but none appear to have the exact symptoms I am receiving.
I have attached an image of the results I get when I try to run Minecraft after the 1.12 Update. I went back to the Launcher and attempted to roll-back to 1.11.xx without success. I have removed all traces of Minecraft from this PC, then did a restore...which also removes all applications except default for the PC. I then reinstalled Minecraft and still get the same blank screen. Minecraft has been running on this PC for over two years without issues. Minecraft now refuses to run on my dedicated game computer.

Suggested temp fix for those with fully patched versions of windows 10.
>Please right click the Minecraft icon on your desktop.
>Select Properties.
>Find the Compatibility Tab.
>under the compatibility tab please check Run this program in compatibility mode for...
>select Windows 7.
>Hit apply & Ok
Run Minecraft and enjoy.
