Minecraft Launcher window doesn't maximize unless being done through Task Manager!

Clicking on the Minecraft shortcut on my desktop will open the Minecraft Launcher where it appears upon my task bar, but the issue is that the window doesn't maximize automatically. I have tried different attempts to maximize the window such as ALT + TAB > Select Window and nothing. Furthermore, I get the same results when I right click on the application within the taskbar then hit maximize.

The only way to maximize the window is through either right clicking on the empty side of the Right Click Task Bar or CTRL + ALT + DELETE > Task Manager > Apps Section > Expand Minecraft Launcher (32 bit) > Minecraft Launcher > Right Click on Minecraft Launcher > Maximize. Suddenly it maximizes. No idea what is wrong with the launcher.

I have tried different variations and methods of troubleshooting. I have tried an alone uninstall and reinstall for both Minecraft and Java or attempted one of the other with the same results. I have even attempted to delete the registry key, app data and still having the same problem. This problem shouldn't be happening and to have to go through the Task Manager is inconvenient and annoying.

Update: Now the options through task manager are no longer available due to windows update. Can't even play minecraft!

Does this issue also occur with the new launcher?
