When I try to log in with the right credentials, which work on mojang.com and with the old launcher, it should log me in.
It tells me that my credentials are wrong and I don't have the right Username and/or password, when I am positive I do. I was logged in before this happened, but I could only play offline.
Here is exactly what I do:
1. I open the launcher.
2. I put my username and password in.
3. I hit the login button, but It doesn't work.

I have the same problem. This is all i get:

Job 'Resources' finished successfullyAfterwards, I tried logging in to mojang.com and it told me unknown e-mail or password. I then tried changing my password on mojang.com and afterwards on the launcher, but it still told me the same thing.

It says It "Cannot contact authentication server". How do I fix this problem.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft / Launcher version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Its a bug, Try to login and wait for an hour it fixes it self. If it still doesnt fix try to log in 3 times After 3 incorrect login attempts, a lockout is placed automatically by Mojang's systems on your network to protect accounts against brute force attacks to gain access.
This lockout is automatic, lasts for 3 hours, and cannot be overridden. Wait 3 hours, don't log in at all. It it doesnt fix itself then I suggest changing your password and trying again.
Please provide full console output.
