error '10:42:05 net.minecraft.realms.RealmsBridge Realms module missing'

Loading snapshot 18w08a game freezes at menu screen with this error '0:42:05 net.minecraft.realms.RealmsBridge Realms module missing'

I noticed this when try to play the 18w07a snapshot as well. The game will not fully load and becomes unresponsive. The only way to stop the program is to open the task manager and end task.

However it will load all other stable versions without incident. This is a new issue as I normally try out the new snapshots when they come out and have not encountered this until now.
