Please fix the error and restart.

I have reinstalled Java, tried 32bit java, reinstalled minecraft, changed the minecraft directory, but none of these have changed the error message.

With the old launcher the launcher itself does not even open. With the new launcher it does open, but the game doesn't and logs contain this same error.

It's been like this for around 2 to 3 months now, I finally found the time to do this small report.

EDIT:

Hello,

I tried creating a new account on my computer with no special characters in the name, just letters. I ran minecraft.exe and it gives me the same error as I talked about earlier.

Same thing happens when I try to change the directory that minecraft works in.

Java cannot handle special characters in WIndows Usernames. Please refer to this page for further information: http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/special-characters/
