I noticed that a few recipes on the crafting table are not listed even through I have the items to make them. Example you can not make sticks from blocks as it only shows you how to use bamboo to make sticks. If you manually add the correct items in the crafting table you can make the item.
Other items would be a simple fence, it lists how to make a gate but not a fence so again only can make it manually.
I am sure there are more examples.

Windows 10 PC v1.16.100.56 Beta. All of the wood and planks are missing from crafting table recipes. I was able to make oak planks by placing oak in crafting area.
