Game crashes after Xbox sign-in on PS4 console.

I just updated Minecraft PS4 for the VR support.  I originally had the disc version and deleted that for the digital version. Whenever I try to sign in to my Xbox Live account, the game crashes to the PS4 dashboard, with error code CE-34878-0. I have completely deleted the game and saves from my console, including my cloud saves for the game, and reinstalled and the issue persists.
