Hotbar Glitch [...]

If you select the dots that open your inventory page, your inventory will show up as usual, but instead of closing it by pressing the same button, if you hold down on the button, it will show the green bar that reveals when you are about to throw an item. If you continue to hold it down, it will throw an item from your inventory.
