When using the preventsjumping component in a custom block, it does nothing for players whether it is set to true or false.
Update:
This component now makes players jump as if they're on a honey block, which will prevent them from jumping up blocks but they'll sitll 'jump', so I'd argue this bug is still valid.
Expected Behavior:
When set to true, players won't be able to jump at allΒ when standing on the block
Actual Behavior:
Players can jump on the block no matter what
Steps to Reproduce:
Download the attached pack
Load a new world and use the give command to obtain 'grunt:mud'
Attempt to jump on it
You'll jump as if you were on a honey block

With 1.16.200.52, this component now appears to half a players jump height, sill wouldn't consider this fixed as it doesn't fully prevent jumping.
The block with prevents jumping is mud, use the give command to obtain it. It should be noted that while it does stop you from jumping up a block, you still jump. I'd argue that prevents jumping should prevent the player from leaving the ground at all.
This component along with other useful components have been removed for some reason, technically 'fixing' this bug but in the worst way possible.
This would be a really useful block component to have for map making, an inputpermission command that prevents the player from jumping would also be great.
Thank you for your report!
