Whenever I receive a notification while playing Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch, when I choose to open it using the - (minus) button, and select "Accept", lots of strange things happen. I can no longer jump, crouch, open my inventory, open the pause menu, or interact with items, and my horizontal controls inverse. I go left on my analog stick, and my character goes right, and vice versa. The only way to fix this is to exit out of Minecraft entirely with the home button and closing the application.
(Edit: As one comment has stated, both of the joysticks on the controllers I use are completely fine and working correctly. This has happened on an old and new controller on separate occasions, and produce the same result. Apologies for the wrong version initially.)
