DisEnchanting any book that contains curse of vanishing is problematic. I remove sharpness 3 from that book via grindstone i threw the book in lava. Several minutes later i fell from a high place and all my items instantly disappeared. I died near my spawnpoint and non were able to be found

Based on your description it seems unlikely this is related to previously having the curse of vanishing book. However, if you can reproduce this with a death that does not match the description in MCPE-48370 then feel free to create a new report. Be sure to provide a list of steps that someone else can follow.
