Lengthened UserNames can be used to cause lagging & crashing on lower-end devices

If a player with a lengthened username (we find this is usually made to be over 100 characters to have the desired effect) joins to a server, as the other players try to load the username in they lag & often crash. This happens when the player is joining, leaving or speaking in chat and can even cause the server itself to go down.

uh how would someone have a name even close to 100 letters

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If so, can you add it to the affected versions?
