Bought a map on the Minecraft marketplace (Xbox One) and the map consistently crashes at the beginning when players have to interact with a villager, even when placed on a realm (actually crashes the realm, players have to wait for the realm to reboot).
Mojang refund policy ( https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360030463592-Mojang-refunds-policy ) says to contact Xbox One support here: ( https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us )
I did so, and was advised to contact Mojang support.
In June, MCPE-84286 was filed.
That person was advised it was already tracking in MCPE-57377 which is about "updating downloads on Windows 10" - not the issue with this map on Xbox and other platforms.
In July, MCPE-92046 was filed.
That person was told their complaint was invalid and they should take it up with the map creator. How can the map creator issue a refund?
Two days ago, MCPE-108102 was filed.
That person received a form-letter response that the crashes are logged automatically. There is no recourse offered for a refund.
These kids need to be offered a refund or Mojang needs to pull the unplayable map from the store until it is fixed by GoE-Craft - this issue deserves attention.

A response from GoE, the Minecraft Marketplace map publisher:
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us, this problem started because of a change in the latest minecraft 1.16.100, we already found the issue and submitted a fix and hope that it will get released soon to the marketplace. As soon as the fix is released you will see an update popup on the map logo on the marketplace and when you update this bug will get resolved.
Should not take long for this update to go live,
We hope that very soon you can get back to enjoy this map like always.Best regards
The GoE team
And my response to them:
Thanks so much for your response, we'll look forward to the fix. In the meantime, can we refund the mine coins so they can be spent on a map that currently works?
Thank you again.
I'm having the same problem in Windows-10. Just purchased the map, on sale for Black-Friday. Can't play multiplayer or singleplayer, 2nd interaction with trader crashes game.

I'm not playing on a server. I have downloaded an offline map from the Minecraft Marketplace and am playing it in single-player, offline, locally on my Xbox One.
I have contacted GoE and requested a refund and they have not responded to that request.
Broken maps are being sold on the Minecraft Marketplace with no comment system, no refund system, no way to even alert anyone that the maps are broken.
Kids buy these maps and then lose their money, unable to play the map or get a refund.
