My character will not stop mining no matter what I do. Even if I switch items or take my finger off the screen or let go of the button my controller, it just keeps mining.This is with no mods, texture, or resource packs on a normal world. This has happened several times to me recently.

Have you noticed an overall lag in your game, or does this happen only when mining and letting your fingers go off the screen?
