So this bug is actually appears only when you hit the upper side of the door, so I assume that when you hit the upper part of the door, game thinks that it was something interrupting it to be, but has no idea that a player actually broke it, that's why it breaks, and falls, maybe, you only destroy the upper part, then it's gonna be easy to fix.
