I made a villager trading hall with 48 villagers in it, i gave them all each a profession and i traded with them all and all their trades were locked ( as it should) . after that they never restocked their trades and i got confused, so i tried breaking their profession block and place it again and suddenly their profession block is not linked to them anymore. ( they are all farmers) i dont know what it is but all the villagers are in water so they should i think never unlink from their workstation and steal others. there are nothing interfering with their linking like nearby village, workstations and anything that relates to a village nearby. I made a trading hall based on this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mGa3mTHAc0. Maybe there is something wrong with this layout? is it because theres a lot of them in one place? or is it because there's only one bed near them? or is it because they are all in water? i have checked all my surroundings and made sure theres no villager related item nearby and it still keeps on doing that and i have to redo the entire trading hall and still the same issue persists. I dont know about other platforms. Give me instructions on how to solve this thanks.
How To Reproduce:
1. Follow every steps on the linked video on pure vanilla survival
2. GIve them all professions (Farmers for me)
3. trade with them all
What Happened:
1. They never restocks their trade
2. They steals other villagers profession block
What should've happened:
1. Restock their trade once it ran out after a while
2. stay linked on the same profession block forever
If this is my own fault, then its the blame on me

Are you sure they are switching composters when you relog, and not just linking to the farther away one from the beginning? How do you confirm they are linked the way you want at first?
We will need exact steps to reproduce to further evaluate this report.
Are you sleeping in the bed?
Sleeping in the bed will de-link it's villager and destroy the village and all workstation links. When the villager re-links to the bed the game creates a new village, and the villagers will link to random workstations, not the one closest to them.

i think i did. i will try and destroy all nearby beds and try again. Also can the cured zombie villager be interfering with the linking? since when its cured it doesnt have a profession block to link to and it will try and find a new one. and can i know at least how far a bed needs to be from a village so that they can link to it? what is the range of a village? can bobbing up and down on water makes them de-link from the profession block?

Since you say you may have slept in the only bed, I do not see any evidence of a bug and I am resolving this report as "cannot reproduce."
The player whose tutorial you followed has his own Discord server where you can ask questions about the build. You can also get reliable technical information on Bedrock villager behavior from a Bedrock technical community. The bug tracker is not the place for that kind of conversation.
