My son has been trying to play Minecraft. The mojang screen loads, then the white Minecraft screen with the loading indicators, and then the screen does a fly-around of the Nether landscape. No menu appears and it continues to show the Nether and that is all the program does.

I have exactly the same issue. I randomly clicked the screen and I started to see the screen flickering.

I'm not a moderator, but this looks like a duplicate of MCPE-109870
It covers the same issue and you can enter your feedback there

I have the same issue on more than one computer with AMD R5 240 gpus. (didn't have any problem with intel 4600 built in or with amd 5850) It happened when minecraft was just upgraded to the latest. For a temporary fix for me I was able to roll back my gpu driver and minecraft started working. (I have not upgraded my gpu driver recently it was the minecraft update that initiated this and needs to be fixed)
