cant run Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch Lite without it crashing and closing the app due to an "error" but no error code given. Every time I try to join a realm or even my own personal world's or a friends world it just closes the app and tells me it was closed due to an error but no explanation as to what that error is..... I've taken my card out, I've uninstalled it twice, emptied the data cash on the switch and reinstalled it twice. And it's all up to date with the 1.16.201. I've been having this type of issue since the 1.16.1 update. Any help would be appreciated cause this is frustrating.

THIS IS STILL A MAJOR ISSUE!!!!! I paid $28.50 for a solid copy of MineCraft to prevent these types of issues and I can't even use it.... I'm LIVID about this...... I can't even use OFFLINE PERSONAL WORLDS or REALMS or Join a Friends world..... this is beyond aggravating and unacceptable..... This need to be addressed Quickly.

Was plagued by this problem for the past couple of weeks. I have been able to fix it if anybody wants to try it out for themselves! Backup your save data, delete the minecraft software, power off the console, remove the SD card, then reboot. Reinstall minecraft without the SD card and set up your game with login. Inserting SD card after the fact has had no Ill effects for me yet. Good luck!

@Grant I have tried doing this MULTIPLE TIMES. more than 5x and my game still won't work. i also do not have an SD card for memory so that isn't an issue.... this is an issue with Mojang programming as the issue started with the 1.16.1 update and got worse with the patch update 1.16.201.... the game is officially UNUSABLE because of the 1.16.201 update..... I paid for the game and i can't use it. this is beyond frustrating and is unacceptable.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Mojang Studios is aware of the issues with the Switch version and are working on it.
