Opening Shulker Boxes in Nether Portals Breaks the Game

I opened a shucker box at the same time I was walking into a nether portal and the shucker box stayed open permanently. I clicked the shucker box at the same time I was entering the portal and the glitch occurred. I could not access any inventories in game, including the shucker box, chests, crafting tables, and player inventory. When accessing another chest or shucker box, they also stayed open but the inventory did not appear. A few other people tested this with me as well, and we found other players still had the visual glitch of the open chests, etc, but could still access inventories and place items in the chests. The game crashed multiple times and many strange things happened, including the player skin changing to Steve, the hunger dropping from full to half upon reloading, and xray glitches. Nothing changed when reloading the chunks, but the problem resolved after quitting and restarting the game. Here is an example of the shulker box glitch.
