Issue: When mining with stone pickaxe, iron ore will drop after being mined, and animation that the ore is picked up happens, but iron ore does not appear in inventory, even when there are empty spots open in inventory. I did not try mining iron with iron pick axe.
What I was doing: I have mined iron ore before today without problems in this world, but when I started mining today, I could pick up stone blocks dropped when mined by stone pickaxe but not iron ore. Lapis lazuli and Redstone mined by iron pick axe dropped and could be picked up.
To recreate:
1. Find iron ore
2. Mine with stone pick axe
3. Approach until block appears to be picked up from animation.
4. Check inventory. No iron ore appears.

Hi Jean, try dropping all the ore you have in your inventory and then going into a furnace to see if it shows ore in the list of what you can put into the furnace. I expect it will. Why? See MCPE-9960. I'll resolve this ticket as awaiting response. Please comment one way or another so I can close or reopen it. Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestion, but I tried it and this doesn't seem to be the solution. I didn't have any iron ore in inventory, even though the animation made it appear I had picked some up. When I went to the furnace, the gold ore appeared, but no iron ore. I tried dropping everything in my inventory, but when I went to the furnace, nothing appeared.
I tried mining iron ore again, but am still having the same problem that the iron ore drops, but doesn't appear in inventory when I pick it up. I don't seem to have the same problem with mining gold ore.
