Boats are too difficult to use to be very valuable

Boats are practically unsteerable and hard to make go fast.

Additionally, the way they are implemented is bad ergonomics and could cause repetititve stress.

I have to repeatedly tap the left and right steer buttons at exactly the same time to make the boat go straight and fast. It's hard to do correctly, which may be the point, but I'd argue that transportation should not be a feat of skill.

If this behaviour to model "boat mastery" I would like to suggest another approach, that requies less constant, quick movements.
