When I open my crafting in my inventory (not in crafting table), I am able to craft torches without the use of coal or charcoal (the crafting recipe shows coal is being used, even though I have none in my inventory). I tried crafting a few, and they work normally as a legitamate torch would have. I tried rebooting my device and the app, the only thing that changed was the number of torches I could make, because I had crafted a few.

MCPE-9960 allows for the player's inventory to be overfilled, such excess items being placed out-of-view from the player. Did you recently move a stack of coal/charcoal from a chest or other external inventory?
Does this bug still affect 0.13.2 or 0.14 beta testing builds? I understand it should have been fixed now, but wanted to confirm.
Yes it does. However, this time I tested it by moving a full stack of coal into my inventory, which had no coal. Instead of moving to a free slot in my inventory, it moved to the invisible inventory that already had coal in it. Only 20 coal was returned to my inventory because I assume my coal stack in the invisible inventory became a full stack.

As @unknown said, this is a duplicate of MCPE-9960. Read the comments there to see different ways to get "invisible" items back.
