The Redstone dot doesn't power blocks on the horizontal plane when strongly powered. The Redstone dot is supposed to power all blocks touching it in the horizontal plane. I've included a pic of the bug in mcpe and a pic of the console version displaying what should happen. Notice the right hand torch in both pics; they both should be off but in the mcpe scenario it is on.

Strange, I don't play PC so I never thought it was an issue like that:
Confirmed on:
Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 (3rd Generation)
Fire OS 4.5.5 (Android 4.4.3)
Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Android 5.0.1 MCPE 0.13 build 5.
I simplified the structure, replacing the block and side-mounted redstone torch with a redstone lamp (Screenshot_2015-11-16-11-14-23), then I placed lamps at each of the other compass directions and none was powered (Screenshot_2015-11-16-11-14-48).
I expected The powered redstone dust cross would power blocks in all 4 compass directions in the same plane as the redstone dust.
The powder needs not be a dot. A line of powder getting power from straight above (not diagonally above) fails to power horizontally adjacent blocks. It's the same as the 3rd bug reported in [MCPE-11855].
I have found a
[media]of the glitch in 0.13.1. The strangest part of this is that the block powering the dust (the white wool in my screenshot) needs to be powered by a torch. Any other means of strongly-powering the wool, e.g. buttons, levers, or tripwire hooks will not lead to the glitch. And if you replace the block below the erroneously activated torch with a lamp, the lamp gets activated as expected.
Confirmed on Asus Zenfone 5 (Androod 5.0)
I tested on Minecraft Java (1.8) and also works. This really is a bug. http://imgur.com/VPZhfHc
