My Wi-Fi is terrible, and although I can host with it, the world crashes often. Therefore, I've been trying to host using my cellular data to no avail.
I turned on the "Use Cellular" option on the Minecraft app but when the world loads, it doesn't give me the option to invite my friends. In the in-game settings, it shows the "multiplayer game" option as "off" although it was on before entering the world. My friends also don't see me active on the app from their phones/laptops.
I've toggled off and on the "Use Cellular" option, reset my phone, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it still doesn't work.

This bug is still happening. To reproduce this is what you need to do
#1 as Host
Host a Minecraft Server using Cellular Data
Invite a friend who's connected to either Wi-fi/Cellular Data
Unable to connect to world
#2 as Joiner
Ask a friend to host a Minecraft World that is open for Multiplayer
Turn off Wi-fi and Turn on Cellular Data
Join a friend from FRIENDS tab
Unable to connect to world
