Claiming free content from the Christmas event still takes the amount of minecoins it originally costs. I had 350, and realized I had 270 the next day. I just claimed the “Thermal Sweater” character creator item in the “free content once a day until Jan 7” event and watched my minecoins go from 270 to 150. Can I possibly get the minecoins back?

This happened to my partner with the Thermal Jarmie Bottoms. She redeemed the item and lost 80 coins. I tried to and was given a message I didn't have enough coins.
