[MCPE-114833] People who are online do not appear online in Minecraft Bedrock or the Xbox app

My friends are in a Multi-player world and I recently friended them i try to join them but they don't appear online to me and I dont appear online to them. I've tried restarting my minecraft and signing out and back in to my Microsoft Acc but it still doesn't work
