Commands become hashtags in Command Blocks

Anytime I put in a command such as the /fill command with coordinates and what I want filled, it turns into hashtags. I thought it was due to the mods but I removed them and it's the same problem. I tried it on regular worlds and it's fine, but in Realms it's the same problem. What is causing this and how do I fix it?
