Whenever I join a server and try to connect to my friends, there's a lag spike every 3 seconds and blocks won't make noise when I break and there is no sound of eating when I try to eat.

Having the same issue, however also experiencing what we like to call "the loading screen of doom" where if I try to open a chest or my inventory it takes a lifetime to load. Usually when this happens we also run into this issue with the lag. Super frustrating.
