Hello, I was playing minecraft but a pilligar killed me but the chat bar said it was a zombie i looked outside then the pilligar was gone, just a zombie?

It probably was the zombie but you might not have seen it. If you can reproduce it again please provide a video. Otherwise, there's not enough information here to determine if there's a problem.
